Let's Make Some Vases

I spent less than $30.00 on all of the vases for my rehearsal dinner and wedding...Seriously!

I got all of them from the Dollar Store (yes, the dollar store yet again) and spray painted them!

You definitely want to invest in a drop cloth and gloves as well as a semi gloss spray paint.  This paint is better than matted paint because it's easier to wipe off and clean if you get any smudges or marks on the vases.

I put them upside down for the first spray and then once they dried I flipped them over to spray the opposite side. 

Once the white vases dried I used a hot glue gun to glue the ends of rope together and secured them to the vase.  Gotta love the nautical look!
